Cecilia Concerts is pleased to present the talented young Nova Scotian pianist Pierre Riley in a special recital.

The horizons of pianist Pierre Riley are as broad as they are diverse: in addition to his ventures as a soloist, his great passion for sharing music with others has fostered an enthusiastic and ongoing involvement with chamber music, collaborative piano, and teaching. A native of Antigonish, Mr. Riley is currently studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, England. Pierre Riley is generously supported by the McCall MacBain Foundation, and is the grateful recipient of scholarships from the Guildhall School Trust and the Nova Scotia Talent Trust.

His program will consist of music from Bach's English Suite, Beethoven's E Flat Major Sonata, a selection of Chopin Mazurkas and Faure's C Sharp Minor Variations.
