Lala Lee is a member of the Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra and has been performing in front of audiences since the age of 5. Nova Scotia Talent Trust Scholarship Recipient 2014 and Grade 10 Honour With Distinction student at Sacred Heart School of Halifax and a Sacred Heart Scholar, Lala is passionate about music, the arts, and social justice. Lala is performing this solo recital to celebrate music and to celebrate the life of another young Haligonian, Abigail Bryant.
Abby Bryant was equally passionate about music, art, and social justice. She was a singer, actor, poet, photographer, songwriter, and doer of good things. The youngest Founding Member of The Friends of Gilda's Nova Scotia, Abby was also passionate about ensuring that no one -especially children and young people- in Nova Scotia go through cancer alone.
Please join her on Sunday, May 10th, at 2:00 to celebrate two young women who are dedicated to art, music, and making Halifax and Nova Scotia a better place. Proceeds from this event will benefit both The Nova Scotia Youth Orchestra and The Friends of Gilda's Nova Scotia.
