Edward Enman, piano one of eight semi-finalists at Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition

Edward Enman, piano has been chosen as one of eight semi-finalists in the 39th Eckhardt-Gramatté National Music Competition (piano) to be held May 6th-8th, 2016 at Brandon University, Manitoba.

Congratulations Ethan Xu for winning the Debut Atlantic Award for Musical Excellence

Ethan Xu has studied piano under Betty Ro for nine years at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts, and has been recognized with many awards and scholarships for music. 
These include the Harry Dean Trophy, the Isabel McAlpine Wickwire Music Foundation Scholarship, the David MacDonald J.S. Bach Scholarship, and the Dr. Ernest and Dorothy Heighton Scholarship for Music. He is also the 2015 Nova Scotia junior piano provincial champion, a national finalist at the 2015 Canadian Music Competition, and the recipient of the 2015 Nova Scotia Talent Trust scholarship.

Congratulations to Charley Young of being a part of 'Terroir: A Nova Scotia Survey Exhibition' at the AGNS

It is with great pleasure to share with you that Charley Young, visual artist and 2012 NSTT Lieutenant Governor's Award winner has been selected as one of the artists for 
Terroir: A Nova Scotia Survey Exhibition 
at the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia. The Exhibition will open in the Fall and showcase the province's rich visual culture.
