Participants collaborated with a filmmaker and worked with a variety of art forms to explore the impact of a stroke or brain injury and to share strategies for recovery.
What you did before you were born: A video letter to her son about his prenatal existence, What you did before you were born? links family history--in Serbia and Acadia--to Ariella’s Pahlke’s seaside house near Halifax to complete the journey to birth of her son. Leavened by humour, humility and a sense of community, this is a motion picture diary that translates life into pure delight.
