Congratulations Lukas Pearse for winning Best Atlantic Original Score at the 2015 Atlantic Film Festival

Former NSTT scholarship recipient Lukas Pearse with Mike Ritchie won the Best Atlantic Orginal Score at the 2015 Atlantic Film Festival for North Mountain.

This award is sponsored by Hideout Studios and entails $500 cash and $5,000 services.

Lukas Pearse is a Bassist/ Media Artist/ Composer / Sound Editor  in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Lukas is the musical director of Upstream Music and has done video and sound scores for dancers, theatre work, and film.

Lukas will perform with guitarist Geordie Haley and drummer Damien Moynihan for the delegates at the Canadian Art Therapy Association Conference held in Halifax from October 16-18.

Edward Enman is the winner of the NSYC National Composition Competition

winner of the 
Nova Scotia Choral Federation's 2015 National Composition Competition

The Nova Scotia Youth Choir will be premiering the piece entitled "Time's Small Space" during their fall tour.

You can hear it on 
September 19 at 7:30 p.m. 
at First Baptist Church, Halifax 

and September 20 at 3:00 p.m. at Wolfville Baptist Church.

In addition to his musical life, Edward is also an avid runner and on August 30, 2015 he ran and finished the Quebec City Marathon for the 2nd time.
