V.E.DAY produced by Jessica Murvin will be screening at the 45th Festival du Nouveau Cinema in Montreal

V.E.DAY directed by Courtney Kelsey
COURT MÉTRAGE COMPÉTITION FOCUS 3
and Zachary Barkhouse, produced by Jessica Murwin, is the story of an insurrection on Canada’s east coast when Allied Victory was announced at the end of World War II.

The film, told through the eyes of a Petty Officer, mirrors the events in Europe and the growing tensions at home.

At times historical documentary, at others fantastical re-enactment, VEDAY aims to shed light on a little known moment in Canadian War History.

V.E.DAY will be screening as part of the
45th Festival du Nouveau Cinema
October 5 - 16, 2016, Montreal
as part of the Focus Competition.

Tickets can be purchased at COURT MÉTRAGE COMPÉTITION FOCUS 3
