Highlights from our 2019 Special Awards Ceremony

We celebrated our scholarship and Special Award recipients on December 11, 2019, in the wonderful Paul O’Regan Hall at the Halifax Central Library.

Once again, our Special Awards Ceremony was an afternoon of performances, presentations, and a joyful gathering of friends and family. We were grateful to have in attendance His Honour The Honourable Arthur J. LeBlanc, ONS, QC, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia, and Her Honour Mrs. Patsy LeBlanc, seen above with Minister Leo Glavine, and Talent Trust Chair Erin Sparks.

We’d like to thank everyone who helped make our ceremony a great success, especially a big thank you to Jennifer Fall-Clarke and the staff at the Central Library, Jenna Robar for her opening and closing Mi'kmaq songs, our MC Mike Hirschbach and our stage director Rebecca Wolfe for volunteering their time and knowledge, thank you to Basil AV that made sure that all the slides and videos played at the correct time and Spider Video for the Facebook live stream, and again congratulations to all the scholarship and Special Award recipients.
